Justin Baldoni's Son Cutting His Hair is the Sweetest Video You'll Watch All Week
Justin Baldoni is saying goodbye to hislong hairafter four years of growth, and it's all for a good cause. The "Jane the Virgin" actor shared a video on his Instagram where he can be seenchopping his hairto donate to Locks of Love, a nonprofit charity that provides custom-made hair pieces to children who have suffered hair loss as a result of medical conditions. Baldoni captioned the heartwarming post, "And it's done," adding the hashtags #fouryearsinthemaking and #youcantelliwasnervousbymygumchewing.
Tommy Buckett,a celebrity hairstylist at Marie Robinson Salon in New York City, is responsible for the dramatic change, but Baldoni also got some assistance from his son, Maxwell, who cut the first section. In the video, while seated in the salon chair, Baldoni explains, "The reason you're cutting it like that baby, is because Daddy is gonna donate his hair to somebody who can't grow their hair because maybe they got cancer like Uncle Zach, or they lost their hair. So he's gonna give all this hair to somebody, that's why you gotta cut it perfectly right there."
Before Maxwell makes the first cut, Baldoni says, "You ready? OK, here we go." Once he's finished, Baldoni holds up the hair and says, "Someone's gonna be so happy to have this hair." The clip also shows his wife Emily Baldoni can be seen kissing him and saying, "I love your heart." (She also says later in the video, "I love it, he's super hot" — and she's not wrong.)
